The Blinken-Biden team is bungling yet another issue of immense magnitude. Blinken is busy trying to do damage control “to mend President Joe Biden’s increasingly strained relationship with Gulf states.” But it isn’t working.
The US is now debilitated under an administration that has proven to the world that it is a featherweight. Israel, meanwhile, has been building relations with friendly Arab countries in continuance of the Abraham Accords, after being disappointed by the Biden Administration. Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hailed the arrival in Israel of Arab foreign ministers to address their common foe, Iran, and the disastrous Biden Iran nuclear deal. Netanyahu stated that the meeting was:
“a direct result of the Abraham Accords, which we brought,” in reference to the public normalization of relations between Arab countries and Israel due to former President Donald Trump’s breakthrough in finding a path to peace in the historically troubled region.
From the Afghanistan debacle and the total humiliation of handing over negotiations to Russia in the Iran deal to its failed Middle East foreign policy and lack of influence in the Ukraine-Russian war, America is becoming increasingly redundant amid the formation of new global alliances.
