Turkey’s foreign minister Hakan Fidan told CNN Türk that Israel is not only Turkey’s problem, and called for international sanctions against “these people.”
Turkey’s foreign minister Hakan Fidan escalated Ankara’s rhetoric against Israel in an interview with CNN Türk, saying that “the people in Israel have become a burden that humanity can no longer bear.”
Fidan said Israel is not only Turkey’s problem, nor only the concern of Erdoğan, claiming that Turkey’s president is simply the one saying openly what others whisper behind closed doors.
According to Fidan, the issue should be seen as “a problem of all humanity.” He claimed that with Israel’s policies and way of thinking, human conscience, political systems and economic systems can no longer carry the burden.
