According to a report in a Pakistani newspaper, Russia has transferred its advanced Tu-214PU command and control aircraft to Iran - a move that could indicate a deepening of military coordination between Moscow and Tehran.  

The aircraft, sometimes referred to as the "airborne command center," is designed to allow leaders and senior military officials to maintain secure communication, manage systems, and monitor operational activity, even during a crisis or war.
