As part of the Gaza Division forces' operation in Tel Sultan in Rafah, the IDF and Shin Bet attacked in recent days, killing the terrorist Ahmed Iyad Muhammad Farhat, who was responsible for the shooting in the Tel Sultan battalion of the Hamas terrorist organization.

The terrorist is responsible for promoting and carrying out sniping plots against IDF forces and other terrorist plots against the State of Israel. 

The division's forces continue ground operations in Tel Sultan and the 'Shaburah' neighborhood, and in the past 24 hours have eliminated a number of terrorists and destroyed terrorist infrastructure and booby-trapped structures.

Division 36 forces intensified operations in the Morag axis area last night and, at the same time, continue to operate in the area. As part of the forces' activities, terrorists were eliminated and terrorist infrastructure above and below ground was destroyed.

In the northern Gaza Strip, forces from Division 252 located and destroyed terrorist infrastructure above and below ground over the past 24 hours.

During their operation, the forces identified a number of armed terrorists operating in a nearby building and eliminated them with tank fire.

In the past 24 hours, fighter jets and aircraft of the Air Force, under the direction of the Intelligence Division, Shin Bet, and the Southern Command, attacked approximately 40 terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip. Among the targets attacked were terrorist cells, buildings used for terrorist activity, weapons, and other terrorist infrastructure.
