A new video attributed to Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) calls for jihad operations inside Western countries, urging supporters to strike “behind enemy lines” and attack targets “where it hurts” in order to weaken and destabilize Western societies.
The video reportedly encourages lone-wolf style terrorism and frames attacks inside the US and Europe as part of a broader campaign against the West. AQAP has long been considered one of Al-Qaeda’s most dangerous and operationally capable branches, with a history of inspiring and directing international terror plots.
The release comes amid growing concerns among Western intelligence agencies over renewed online extremist propaganda campaigns designed to radicalize supporters and encourage decentralized attacks without direct operational coordination.
