A Russian helicopter pilot who has served for many years in the Russian air force gave a long ranging interview to the Russian press.
- When asked which pilots he is most afraid of in the world, i.e. from which country, he quickly answered "Israeli pilots".
"They are simply the best in the world, by far."
The pilot also claimed that until now the following have been destroyed by the Ukrainian Air Force:
17 Sukhoi 24 - 14 verified at
15 Sukhoi 27 - compared to 9 verified
25 MiG 29 - compared to 17 verified
25 Sukhoi 25 - compared to 16 confirmed
- In the first days of the war, the Ukrainian IDF inflicted very heavy losses on the columns of the Russian army that were on the way to Kiev, from the famous 40 km column at the beginning of the war, at least several dozens of vehicles were destroyed.
There is quite a bit of Russian propaganda here, but it's still interesting to read.
