NEWSRAEL: The problem is really that no Arabs ever speak responsibly, moderately and accepting of others, but that anyone who does so is immediately shouted down by the masses.
A lot of anger in the Palestinian street due to an interview of the mayor of Hawara to Israeli media this morning.
Below are his words that managed to arouse great anger:
"I tell the Israelis that they should stop thinking that Hawara is a place where there is terrorism.
All those who previously carried out operations in Hawara came from outside it.
This operation is different from the previous ones, because the two Jews were at a car wash and it's like killing a person who came to your house.
This is not acceptable to us and I am against it.
When a person comes to you as a guest or a customer and you kill him, it is against religion and morality.
We are not happy with what happened, I was angry when I heard what happened.
We welcome everyone who comes to us and it doesn't matter if they are Jewish, Muslim or Christian."
