WATCH PA libel: Israel at war with Iran to “thwart Palestinian curriculum in Jerusalem”

Official PA TV “Israeli affairs expert” Rasem Obeidat: “The postponement of matriculation exams in Jerusalem comes as a result of the prevailing conditions in Jerusalem and the occupation’s (i.e., Israel’s) attempts to thwart the Palestinian [PA] curriculum in Jerusalem.

This is part of the occupation's method to exclude Palestinian education and the Palestinian curriculum in Jerusalem. The postponement and the security conditions are related to the Israeli thinking that is not interested in there being a Palestinian matriculation exam in Jerusalem.” [Official PA TV News, June 22, 2025]

“The prevailing conditions in Jerusalem” refers to Israel postponing the matriculation exams in Jewish and Arab schools alike due to Iranian attacks on Israel during Operation Rising Lion.
