UK police: We prevented a major attack against the Jewish community in Manchester, 2 involved terrorists arrested
Two Muslim men in the UK were convicted of terrorism after planning what could have been the largest terrorist attack ever on British soil. The two smuggled weapons into the country and planned to carry out a massacre of Jews in Manchester.
The two men were found guilty yesterday of conspiracy to murder hundreds of people in a shooting spree inspired by the Islamic State organization.
The British police stated that the hatred held by Walid Saadawi, 38, and Ammar Hussein, 52, towards the Jewish community "knew no bounds." The police added that had their plan been carried out, it could have ended as one of the deadliest terrorist attacks in British history, if not the deadliest.
