A storm in the Palestinian system following the opening of the "Icon Mall" mall near Ramallah, and the presence of senior PA officials at the glittering inauguration.
The criticism is mainly coming from Hamas, which accuses the West Bank, and especially the "Ramallah bubble," of being disconnected from what is happening in the rest of the Palestinian system, and in particular in Gaza, which is suffering badly from the war.

Other surfers were outraged that the inauguration event included "mixed dancing."
In between, there is a call to boycott the mall, which at least for now is not catching on given the enthusiasm of many that "Dubai has come to the West Bank."
