In the face of growing global antisemitism, one of the most striking features of the modern Western Left and their liberal elites, is their refusal to acknowledge who the main perpetrators are.
Despite overwhelming data, video evidence, and street protests filled with open threats against Jews, they continue to insist that the danger lies in some vague “right-wing extremism”.
But the truth is glaring: the primary drivers of antisemitism in Europe today are the growing herds of young, radicalized Muslims.
The evidence is not hard to find. From Paris to London, Berlin to Malmö, Jewish communities are being harassed, assaulted, and silenced—not by skinheads in swastikas, but by pro-Hamas demonstrators, Islamist preachers, and violent mobs shouting “Death to the Jews” in Arabic.
And yet, the same politicians and commentators who decry racism fall silent—or worse, make excuses when Jews are the targets and Muslims the aggressors.
This is not to say all Muslims are antisemitic, but saying so has become a whitewash. But a specific and increasingly visible subset, often radicalized and unassimilated, has imported centuries-old hatreds from the Middle East into Western societies. The refusal to confront this reality is a form of moral cowardice—one that is costing Jewish lives.
Worse still, Western “dhimmis”, a term borrowed from Islamic law referring to subjugated non-Muslims, are willingly submitting to this inversion of truth. They celebrate diversity even as that diversity fuels intolerance. They excuse hatred as “resistance.” They chant slogans about freedom while silencing Jewish voices on campuses and in public spaces.
Antisemitism, especially when it comes in the form of violent Islamist ideology, must be named and confronted. Western leaders need to stop appeasing those who would destroy the very values of pluralism and tolerance they claim to uphold. Ignoring this trend won’t protect Jews, and it won't protect other people. It will only embolden the next attack.
It’s time to stop pretending. The West’s survival as a civilized, moral society depends on it.
