Seattle imam Abdulbary Yahya delivered a sermon at the Islamic Center of Seattle Masjid in which he described Jews as “the most misguided among all people,” accused them of arrogance, and claimed they believe everyone else is “an animal.”
According to the sermon, Yahya said Jews “know the truth but refuse to follow it,” adding that Allah is angry with them and will humiliate them on Judgment Day. He also urged Muslims to pray not to become like those “whom Allah is angry at.”
The comments are drawing criticism as another example of openly antisemitic rhetoric being spread in religious and online platforms in the West amid rising global hostility toward Jews and Israel.
