Hossein Kanani Moghaddam, former Iranian politician and officer in Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), said in a November 6 interview for Nameh News: "I believe that Trump leans more towards negotiating and minimizing the tensions in the Middle East, even though he is likely to revive his previous policy. Also, the issue of [vengeance] for America's assassination of Qassem Soleimani [still] exists, and the sword of vengeance for Soleimani's assassination hovers over Trump's head and the heads of his friends and of the perpetrators of this deed."
