The largest American flag ever flown in Israel has been raised in the Binyamin Regional Council in a gesture of gratitude to U.S. President Donald Trump, the spokesperson of the council said on Saturday.

The massive flag was hoisted to honor Trump’s “significant achievement” in securing the agreement for the return of the hostages in Gaza, and “with confidence that it will bring peace and stability to all citizens of the State of Israel,” the council stated.

Measuring 26×36 feet, the red and blue striped flag is visible from great distances, according to the statement.
