Galina Smirnova, 95, was charged Wednesday with second-degree murder and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon in the death of Nina Kravtsov, an 89-year-old Holocaust survivor from Ukraine, at the Seagate Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Smirnova pleaded not guilty during her arraignment and is being held without bail at Rikers Island.
