In 2020, President Biden also took heat for saying if voters aren't sure who to vote for, 'you ain't Black'
During a pre-campaign rally in Pittsburgh on Thursday, former President Barack Obama urged Black Americans to rally behind Vice President Kamala Harris, noting a lack of enthusiasm compared to his own campaigns in 2008 and 2012.
Before joining Sen. Robert P. Casey Jr. for a later event, Obama visited a local campaign office where he expressed concern over the current Democratic nominee's support within the African-American community.
"We have not yet seen the same levels of energy and turnout in our neighborhoods as we did when I was running," Obama remarked. He pointedly addressed Black men, saying, "When you have a choice this clear—someone who understands your struggles and experiences—it's vital to show up."
He contrasted Harris with former President Trump, highlighting Trump's consistent disregard for Black communities. "And you’re thinking about sitting out?" Obama challenged.
He further noted that many who hesitate to support Harris are creating "all kinds of reasons and excuses" to either abstain from voting or back another candidate. "Part of it makes me think—you might not be comfortable with the idea of a woman as president," he added, calling for reflection on their motivations.

Have no fear, Barack Obama is here…. to mansplain Kamala Harris to the country.
Obama thinks Kamala’s “plateaued” and behind the scenes, he’s saying Kamala’s losing the black vote.
After Harris couldn’t hit a single pitch in any of her softball interviews, the Obamas and the Clintons are saying no more talking… we’re taking over!
