General Amir Avivi, founder of Israel’s Defense and Security Forum, visits Joshua’s Altar in Judea and Samaria, Israel’s biblical heartland.
Noting how the site, which lies deserted, provides archaeological evidence linking the Jews to the Exodus from Egypt, Avivi emphasizes the importance of developing the site and making it more accessible.
“If we are willing to give up the one connection we have to the Exodus from Egypt, the one historical proof of our history, what does it say about us?” he asks.
