A 21-year-old Jew escaped Nazi Germany shortly before Hitler prevented Jewish immigration in favor instead of extermination.
He made it to Eretz Israel - to the Galilee where Jews maintained continuous communities for 3,000+ years. And there, though escaping the horrors of the Holocaust, he was stabbed.
As he lay dying, he managed to scribble in a notebook, “Arab stabbed me. Dying. Farewell to all friends.”
