The US Treasury Department expanded its list of Israeli individuals and entities sanctioned for constructing and expanding communities in Judea and Samaria on Monday.
Individuals added to the Biden administration’s list are Itamar Yehuda Levy, who is linked to the “Il Hari Yehuda” company; Shabti Koshlevsky, of the “Hashomer Yosh” organization; and Zohar Sabah, who owns a farm near Mevo’ot Yericho.
The Treasury Department’s website also listed the Amana organization, which is involved in planning, constructing, and managing housing projects in various communities.
The sanctions come on the heels of a letter sent by nearly 90 Democratic congressmen to President Joe Biden calling for sanctions on Amana and right-wing Israeli government ministers Itamar Ben-Gvir Bezalel Smotrich.
